Hello and welcome to my little space on the internet. My name is Ara and I am a full-stack web developer and much more. Hope you like my portfolio theme, I was going for a Super Nintendo 16-Bit as it is my favorite console and brings back a lot of good memories. I started my web development journey in mid 2018 at the UCLA full-stack bootcamp where we focused on the M.E.R.N stack. I enjoy working on all types of projects whether it be at the front or back end, debugging and automating mundane tasks. After my bootcamp I was able to land a job at TMZ as a QA Analyst. Being in an actual SCRUM/AGILE professional environment I was able to learn a whole lot about the entire development process.

As a QA Analyst I learned a great deal about various testing tools, methodologies, and automation. From writing entire test suites and test cases into TestRail to verifying bug fixes or enhancements before reaching production. I was really able to flex my coding skills when it came to automation. Initially when it came to automation our stack consisted of Java and TestNG, but after a team discussion we believed that this stack was overkill and not industry standard for web testing. Our team came to the conclusion that the stack should be Gauge, Python and Selenium; we were successfully able to automate several of our test suites and run full end-to-end tests with Slack reporting.

My goal has always been to be a web developer where I can contribute to something more than tabloid news. Below you can see a list of the technologies I know and a glimpse into my personal portfolio. Other then developing, I enjoy gaming on my PC or console, reading and being outdoors. Thanks for visiting.
